The new song "Sanctuary", which will be the theme song for "TOKYO GX ACTION", will be released on Monday, May 19th!

The new song "Sanctuary," written as the theme song for "TOKYO GX ACTION CHAN GING - Decarbonization action that will change the future," will be released digitally on Monday, May 19th!

This song was co-written by members Taiki Kudo and Sota Hanamura, as well as Kitagawa Yuujin of Yuzu, and was created at the request of Tokyo in sympathy with "TOKYO GX ACTION," which widely disseminates "GX (Green Transformation)," and to convey a message of change for the future through music.

The jacket photo was created by art director Taku Nakai, and was designed based on the keyword GX (Green Transformation), with the image of breaking through the concrete ground from a world filled with greenery and transforming the inorganic world.



Tokyo GX ACTION aims to disseminate the latest GX technologies and other information throughout the year in order to accelerate Tokyo's Green Transformation (GX) efforts to shift from fossil fuels to a clean energy-centered society toward carbon halving in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2050.
This year, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and Tokyo E-Prix will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on Saturday, May 17 and 18 (Sun).

On Sunday, May 18, they will perform their new song "TOKYO GX ACTION Special Artist Da-iCE Special LIVE" for the first time in a live concert. This will be Da-iCE's first attempt to release music themed on the environment and GX.

What world line should I follow to see that there is a future where I can work with Kitagawa-san? I want to boast loudly to my past self, it was a very honorable and grateful production.
The song was written with the meaning that we should take action to protect our place (sanctuary). Please look forward to it.

I made an offer to Mr. Kitagawa to write the image song of "TOKYO GX ACTION," and I was really happy that he agreed.
I'm looking forward to being able to express Yuzu's style in Da-iCE with five people singing. I hope many people will listen to it.

Last year, when I performed with Hanamura-kun on a music program,
"We'd like to write a song together someday."
I was really happy to make it happen so soon.
Even if it's a big theme or motif, I want to express their life-size music.
That's how I started writing songs.
The lyrics were written with Kudo and Hanamura.
Based on the axis I created, the words of the two of us now overlap.
When I listened to the completed sound source, of course the expressiveness of the two main vocalists
I was also very impressed by the chorus work of all five members.
This song is for all of us in Da-iCE and all of you on the sixth page
I hope it will be loved for a long time.
